Picked this up today..These were made up from spare fn slides already marked for Walther..These are actually made in early 1945...Only one mag, but there MAY be another...Cool late war holster made out of different components as the break away flap is actually made of pressed paper...The pistol is all matching...Comments welcome, thanks for looking, Mike

Nice! Love these late war oddities...Spreewerk completed some late "0" series with ac marked FN slides....

Thats a nice rig! Thanks for sharing...

mags are a dime a dozen for the late war P-38's, nice example for the safe and not the range

nice rig

Yea, that one is not an easy find. Looks really nice! That’s one type not in my collection. Someday one hopefully will be when money, the right one and right time all match up correctly.

Nice rig

That is an excellent rig ! That is an interesting holster. Take some more pics of that paper/ersatz flap..

Added a few more pics...The phosphate finish on the slide isn't very good or was real thin and doesn't photograph well, it is not as "thick" as the frame and some of the small parts...Thanks again for the comments...Mike

copper

Love that copper colored spring. That slide is not worn, but the finish is just lighter. I call these tri tones...

The AC 44 marked FN slides are scarcer than the AC 43 marked ones encountered on the Mausers.

Nice dual tone late war Mauser all the way around.
Hang on to it.

hmm I thought all of the books and studies showed the ac43s were less common.

Did the slide have the MI stamp hidden on the inside?
