Supposed "white wash" k98k out of norway.

Here are two regulations:
Army High Command orders - painted weapons
Camouflage paint and camouflage paste

I agree with Mike about this rifle, the paint looks too fresh and usually it would be yellowed after such a long time.

In Norway the K98k is still used, as example in Spitsbergen for self defense against attacks by polar bears (on the official side a Norwegian directive require a minimum caliber .308 Win, the original 7,92x57 and the .30-06 are more useful). A while ago I saw a picture from the 80's or 90's with a Norwegian man who carried a white K98k.
