Had this one for awhile and thinning down some rifles. Never realized it, but can this be a east german re-work?

The droopy wing eagles are proof stamps from the Weimar Republic, the period just before the Nazis came to power. I have a 1938 S/42 with the same markings.

its not a east german re-work or issue rifle

wrong proofs

cant speak on the rifles matching parts

I think East German reworked rifles were marked with a "sunburst" proof. However, not all East German reworked rifles were marked with one. Also they tend to have the "Russian capture" style of bluing. Hope this helps.

EG reworks usually peened the swastikas out, but the stock acceptance still shows it. I wonder what other 'East German' items he has....

I have a definitive EG/Czech rework that has nearly pristine swastikas in all the eagles. I know they usually destroyed them but that was not always the case.

However I do agree that this one is not East German.
