Picked this one up recently..I also posted on Gunboards, I don't know why as most of the knowledgeable posters have regrettably passed..It is all matching, unsanded, and shows no signs of German use, even the bolt closes on an empty chamber...These are pretty uncommon and is the first matching FN made Yugoslavian rifle I have seen for sale for quite some time...Here are some pics, thanks for looking, comments welcome, Mike....

All matching. That is a nice pickup. I wouldn't mind having one of those myself. I like the FN Mausers.

You hit the nail on the head about gunboards. In the military Mauser section Chris aka Bagiman is about the only one left with any knowledge, and I'm not so sure he even goes there anymore.

That one is a lot nicer than the one I found last year that is all matching. When did the shroud and the safety start getting serial numbered by FN?

Seems FN would number whatever parts the buyer wanted. Yugo contracts I am not up on and I don't have my FN Mauser book handy. If anyone has their book nearby is there any mention in it about which parts were numbered?

I only wonder because most FN Yugo M24s that I have seen do not have a numbered safety or shroud.
