Got this cheap from a flea market with a few other bits,it's a shame it's rusted but the blade is in ok condition.

I like the serial number on the grip.I was in two minds as to what to do to clean this up but I'll just give the steel a wipe on wipe off with balistoll oil and leave it alone.

certainly the best choice, leave as is, only oiling the blade, the serial could be a inventory number, otherway its a 104 year old item with patina. Initials could be from owner who captured it.b.r.Andy
