Here is the back end of that picture with the gentleman's name on the back of it. As well as a picture of a Junkers Ju 52 transportation aircraft with a unit Insignia on the side of the aircraft. I'm curious of what unit that is. That picture also has a description on the back too.

Perhaps a staff transport for II. Gruppe, JG27? JG27 is commonly associated with North Afrika and the Mediterranean.

Yep, II/JG27 emblem, and II/JG27 served during the Battle of France and through the Battle of Britain before heading for North Africa.

And with a May 30th 1940 date on the rear of the Fallschirmjager photo, they will have to be 1st Parachute Division, possibly during training as replacements for the high losses 1st suffered during the attacks on the low countries which wasn't very successful for the Fallschirmjager other than the brilliantly executed assault on Eben Emael.

Here's another one for my collection.

Great pictures. Those are some dudes you would prefer to not mess with. The paratroopers made big difference at Mnnte Casino and at Normandy, among other scraps.
