Fake Saxon Sterngewehr

Well part of this rifle is fake but it still is a problem rifle. The bolt is bad on on this rifle it's a total fake renumbering job and the stock is cracked. I thought I recognized the serial number when this one was posted on Dave site. I sold that rifle for a friend 2 years ago with the cracked stock but I later found out the bolt was bad. It was sold as a project and I didn't get much out of it for him. And he wasn't the first one that owned it. Apparently it screwed somebody out of money back in 2008. He was pretty bummed out on it not only did he take a loss on it because of the cracked stock and the mismatched parts but finding out the bolt was bad was a real hurt to him.

I believe he paid like $700 for it and I barely got like $300 out of it when I sold it for him.

So fair warning to people do not bid on this rifle unless it goes for cheap money.

Wow, that rifle has a lot of issues. Not surprised given the grey blanket backdrop. Thanks for warning the folks-- I'm shocked it wasn't shill bid up higher.
