Hello all, i came across this scoped G43 today and was wondering if y'all can help me out at evaluating the value. The owner is asking for 3000 USD. Thanks

Price is good if it is all matching. Lightly sanded stock, reproduction mount but an original Voigtlander Luftwaffe marked scope as added bonus.
Receiver is St. Etienne made and looks like it was painted black.

I'd pass on both rifles. The G43 with the sanded stock and exposed duffle cut (I've seen other pictures) are not worth the asking price. Mount is fake also.

If you are mostly wanting a collector rifle I would say you need a lot more confirmation photos on a few things. Like said above, the stock looks smoothed over by just looking at the photos provided. And, $3k, you are mostly on your way to a good and correct one.

Luftwaffe ZF4 and Numrich repro mount together are worth approximately $800. That leaves $2,200 for a matching G43 with St. Etienne receiver. I don't think it's too bad of a price unless the duffle cut you mentioned is really bad.
