Glad to see them stacking up! Mausers are way too fun, before long you’ll start forgetting rifles that you own haha. I still need to find an Astrawerke receiver Sauer myself, nice!

Nice. It doesn't take long once you've been bitten by the bug and I can't count the times I've forgotten one I have. Clay, I think yours is sitting in my living room.

I love the 1940 42 code. The metal finish is like fine jewelry. Good start to a collection, focused and concise is my favorite type of collection to see. Can't wait to see how it grows.

"all done collecting" I don't understand this phrase.
But cool having a semi auto mg34!

Ahh yes indeed Ken! :biggrin1:

...... I am all done collecting

That's what everyone says haha

I’ve said that dozens of times, look where I’m still at lol

I think this sums you up Clay:

Buyers high: Compulsive shoppers experience is a rush of excitement when an individual buys. The euphoric experience is not from owning something but from the act of buying it. This rush of excitement is often experienced when they see a desirable item and consider buying it. And this excitement can become addictive.

It's okay when it comes to Mausers and Trainers though. You have to have a sick (awesome) collection.

Everyone else has addressed the rifles. I'll step in and say your medal collection is pretty cool! We have the HJ marksmanship badge, armband, Iron Cross, and Ostfront/Frozen Meat medal in common.

I've taken an interest in the medals/history of the Dutch NSB and Waffen SS as well. Not exactly popular topics so the books/medals are hard to scrounge up. But I have picked up three NSB medals so far. One day I'll have somewhere to set up a nice display like you have!

Pro tip: those little Dewalt parts bins are great for medals.
