No War Eagles For You!

This rifle was mentioned in another thread, I had forgotten a lot of the detail of it. Can’t get the rear screw out as it’s too tight and has some rust, but barrel code shows. Rifle is mostly phosphate, darkened with age. Bolt is FN supplied with a Sauer armorers gas shield. Notice the broken firing proof which shows up in a very narrow range of early byf45 and late L block rifles. Serial appears hand stamped. Stock is subcontracted C* marked. I can take more pics if anyone needs, but can’t take it apart....yet. Also see that the barrel matches by serial and suffix. Lol.

I'd love to see that in my safe! Thanks for showing it. Is that a blue receiver and phosphate barrel?

Man that’s got a great mix of features, phos, C stock, sintered upper, love it!

Yeah I agree. This one is really out there.. but in a good way. I can't help but think about pre and early war rifles and how much different this had gotten.

It’s a phosphate action, it’s just darkened with age. I can’t decide if the marks on top of the receiver are period, but nothing else is beat up on it.

Sort of dented up like the ar44 hand stamp I have. Not as bad though.

Super cool rifle Mike! The L barrel isn't common and neat that it matches the serial like that.
