GEW 98 stock question

I'm thinking about taking on a GEW98 project rifle that is in need of a new stock. Will a Brazilian 1908 Mauser stock work? This rifle would only see use in WW1 reenacting.
 
The short answer is that the Brazilian stock will work. Having said that I just finished a deal with Warrior1354 and I would take him up on his offer of an original Imperial stock if I were you. Good luck with your project.
 
Thank you for the kind words Paul he did message me and it looks like he's going to need more than just a stock set I actually have all the parts he needs.
