Questionable G.24(t)

Hey all, I picked this up after a fellow forum member and I looked at the limited pics and thought it seemed ok.

Now, having received it, my buddy and both are questioning some of the characteristics of the rifle. Fortunately, I have return privilege, so it'll all work out if my worries are correct. (I hope they aren't and I'm just being too critical.) I admit, Brunn II is not my strongest maker (I'm a JPS guy)

This is ostensibly a dou41 24t made early enough to have a converted vz24 stock, but not so early to have a Czech receiver. The wood modifications look ok and it has the German style follower added.

Here are my concerns:
1) The dou 41 looks off to me. No period either
2) The G.24(t) marking on the siderail seems handstamped, again, maybe I'm wrong.
3) I've seen legit rifles with light stamps, but the e/607 acceptance seems a bit lightly struck.
4) The eagle on the bolt knob looks fine, but I question the SN font.
5) The stock cartouches are just a bit too nice. At this point though I think I'm just looking at things to overanalyze.

What say you all?

Everything is wrong. Compare to the early 24t examples in the reference section.

Thanks guys for confiming. my suspicion is this was a scrubbed crest vz24 that someone humped. Back it goes!

rather nasty.... here's a b-block I have to compare. Note, the cupped recoil bolt on the left side...

Same opinion about faked stamps, the blueing is new and on some parts only black painted, anyway the maker know how should look the stamping on this range of dou41. b.r.Andy

Its Back

Its back up for sale at Simpson's - I was really liking this gun and it sold before I could make up my mind. Unfortunately its probably going to another unsuspecting collector, but not me. So glad for this site...

Yeah, disappointing. They made me whole, even shipping costs, but was sorry to see they relisted without disclosing. To me it's worth $2-300 as a shooter. Zero collector value after such a humping.

Wow and back up for sale without a mention of the issues and return.

I get a kick out of Finn collectors that will say well it's real if it has a 3600 stamp. They need to take a look at this one.
