New and eager to learn

Hello, I just found this forum as I was searching for information on old Mausers. I'm not new to firearms, but I know very little about Mausers and I'm eager to learn because I want to purchase one. I'm just afraid of paying too much after being mislead.

Welcome aboard! I would start by taking a look at the reference thread section. Lots of examples of what right looks like.

Another, albeit more expensive, place to start would be a quality reference book. I strongly recommend the Karabiner series if you're wanting to learn alot and have a wonderful reference source as well. Ask plenty of questions too! There's alot of extremely knowledgeable people here!
