? on stock marking

I have seen a Russian capture that the stock has the marking of a sideways H above the eagle and swastika and theserial number. What does the H stand for? This is the first K98 stock that I have seen with any type of cartouches. I am not very familiar with these markings and would appreciate its meaning.

If the H is inline with the stock disc and the acceptance it means Heer or Army in German parlance.
