Looking for info on a k98 I bought

Bought an old k98 at a auction
Reciever is marked as following
Eagle with 37 on top center has Ar and bottom is marked 43
It's a all number matching rifle was looking for info on the value and year made hopefully it was a good buy to get my wife off my back any help will be appreciated

Sounds like you have a JP Sauer built in 1943 or 44 with a left over Borsigwalde receiver. Sounds like an interesting variation. Pictures will be necessary to help determine anything else. Welcome!

You paid too much for it is all I can say from the info provided. How can I tell? Your wife is on your back about it. [emoji23]

Oh brother! Totally overpaid! :behindsofa: Not sure who's selling rifles like this for $195 in 2019 but congrats to you. Love the CG Haenel supplied barrel and would like to see a full photo spread on this when you get a chance.

That, with the e/359 and cursive code, looks more like an AC 43 to me. Walther would be the maker.

You would be correct in that Walther supplied the receiver. It was originally destined for MB but diverted to JPS for assembly. I have ax 41 c block with the same single e/359 in the same exact spot.

It’s hard to make out but it’s actually just a standard script 43, it does look to possibly be an example that didn’t get final polishing work but it’s hard to make out in that photo.

You are right, it's a standard Sauer & Sohn. I would say late 1943.

Better pic of receiver

Also what's the value I've checked the numbers on bolt, bolt handle, stock, but plate, trigger guard, both forearm bands, reciver, barrel, recivercleaning rod, sight dove tail ,iron sight and mount and all are 9998 but cant seem to find a import number checked all around and took the gun apart to look for one in the stock to no prevail

That better photo shows its a ce 43, made by J.P. Sauer & Sohn. If you can't find an import mark, then it most likely just doesn't have one. Even better! I will say it's worth quite a bit more thank what you paid for it, I'd say closer to the $800 or more side if numbers are matching. I'm sure some of the experts here can narrow that down closer.
