Sporterized 1937 ERMA Kar.98k

I recently acquired this unfortunately sporterized Kar.98k, serial #8449b made by ERMA in 1937. All the remaining metal parts are matching, the laminate stock it came in is not matching and I cannot find any surviving acceptance stamps (even on the recoil bolt) on it to determine when or where it was made. Having now test-fired the rifle and determined that it still retains sufficient accuracy to make it worth the effort I would like to restore this rifle to its proper military configuration, and since finding a walnut stock for a 1937 ERMA would be very difficult I am considering a reproduction flat-butt walnut stock. PPHU Fox Military makes one, and there is also this one available from Minelli S.P.A. Does anyone have any experience with either of these reproductions?
