Value of 1937 BSW Russian Capture?

Haven't bought it yet, but found someone selling a 1937 BSW RC for $700. That is pretty high for a Russian Capture but it's a BSW so...you see where I'm at. Am I crazy?

Well it would have to be something special to warrant that kind of money, although it does seem the prices everywhere have inched upwards. Do you have any pictures of it?

Here are some photos. It doesn't appear to have any electropenciling. The random strikes around the "7" are odd to me. Maybe it resembled 1/4 of a swastika and needed to be defaced (lol)?

The only reason to buy it - the receiver markings- are beat to hell. No, hard pass imo.

Maybe for half what seller is asking or $350. Personally I wouldn't want it.

I ended up passing on it. Thank you all (seriously) for talking me out of some closing-hour BSW lust.

Good move I think. Yes the BSW is uncommon but you aren’t really getting a BSW rifle when you buy an R/C, you’re buying a “Frankenstein” rifle made up of parts. If it had a good bore and was mechanically sound then maybe 150 for a shooter, or for a reenactor group to have out in all weather. You made the right call.
