    Default Warbooty picture #2

This one came in with some other pictures I bought a few weeks ago. Never seen a picture of Imperial era sailor armed with Mosin rifle! Also adding a few other cool pictures too more are still coming!

I think picture #5 gives a little clue why so many Gew98 rifles were repaired during the Great War.

Picture #2 is my favorite though love that squad of soldiers armed with Kar98a carbines and sidearms.

It's going to take some work to get that G98 back in action... that is one screwed up rifle and probably heading for the scrap pile. Makes you wonder what the previous owner looked like?

I believe the KM in general got relieved of most of its modern rifles early in the war, though some were sent to the front and probably kept theirs, here is a view of some naval engineers (April 1916, one with a 98a).

What handgun do you suppose it is in the #2 photo? . . . . Doesn’t quite look like a P08.

Judging by my scores that I fired back in the day, my rifle MUST HAVE HAD that barrel pictured in picture #5!
