Original scope mount ?

This is on a rifle that is for sale locally. Is the numbering on it correct? It looks like a 359 proofed mount but on a G43 duv 44 rifle.

It appears to be an original mount, with the rifle number and scope number stamped into the mount. Hopefully, the matching scope is still on there.

This does not appear to be your typical/common style of mount. More pics would show more details for sure.

9130 should be the rifle serial it was originally issued with, whereas 33222 (hope I've read it correctly?) would resemble the serial of the scope on this mount. Knowing the scope is indeed this serial would help in verifying this mount.

I don’t have any other pictures but the one I just added in this post. What is not typical about this mount?

It is a typical early walther mount. It is simply uncommon in regards to rarity.... you seldom find these early mounts for sale... not many survived the war and not many were produced.
