Beautiful walnut byf 43 - thanks Soldaten!

BiO has byf/43 174/c, also walnut, but no bolt data... he auctioned it once, might have sold it.

1943 byf 6631/c seems to have e/140, but lug isn't shown so unsure if MI marked...
1943 byf 11818/c seems lacking waffenamt, but lug not shown, walnut like yours also.

These are the closest i have recorded for your rifle, of 56 reportings in the c-block, about a third with matching bolts, only a handful, maybe 8 or 10 show any real detail on these features and even these are incomplete, often not showing the lug.

Took a closer look, still no waffenamts or MI. I tried taking some better pics in the sunlight (the best I could as the sun was going down). Hopefully they can help for your records as well.

I would say it is something not seen yet, hard to say whether WMO or FN made, I would lean WMO personally, but they have a internal marking also, which is lacking, though I am not sure it was used in this range.

Lacking the MI suggests it isn't FN made, though I do not know how reliable that marking is for FN, it is very commonly encountered though (typically lug, but can be to the side), rare to see it absent when the e/140 is present. Standard view is no waffenamt or ordnance code means internal made, which is why I would lean this being WMO made. I should say that no e/135 bolt is known in the c-block, but d-block and e-block have several recorded. (none that I am aware of are totally blank though, but i am sure your bolt is authentic)

Thanks Bob for the clarification on 174/c!
