Hello,

here are pictures from my Kavallerie Karabiner M/71.

It is in very good condition with all matching numbers.

Regimental marking 1877 from the

"Königlich Bayerischen 6. Chevaulegers-Regiment "Prinz Albrecht von Preußen" 3. Eskadron"

There is the 'H' in the Stock like the shown H-Receivers.

Thanks Peter, I added it to the K71 research thread, very nice rifle too!

I also added it to the H- study, not sure if it is related, but having it referenced there will allow others to determine relevance.

I found another Mod.71 at a German dealer, think it is interesting, 1874 O block:
1874 Steyr 6104 O (I.G. Mod.71) F.W. unit: n/a (H-receiver & barrel)
I could send the link to the rifle, if desired.
