Bnz45 help

hi guys
I found today a bnz45 with matching bolt and band, but i think it have a brunn stock, with barrel band screws and trigger guard/floorplate.

So the stock is not correct for the action. So my question is. I have to leave is as i found it ( it is anyway a kriegsmodel) or i should find a correct stock and parts?

Should it possible that steyr will have a brunn stock mounted??
The stock have no external markings. Only a small eagle with , maybe a 263 code , inside.
Any help will be accepted
Thanks
Andy from italy

Definitely strange, (as you probably know) I'm pretty sure these late steyrs only came with a full kreigsmodell stock and I dont see why Steyr would have Bruun stocks. Maybe someone with much more knowledge will chime in. I really like the corn cobbed look on that stock. As for looking for a replacement stock they're pretty much unicorns if you find one expect to pay atleast $1000 for a good one. I have a psot up for a BNZ 45 and hoping I get lucky! Either way, nice gun and happy hunting!

That stock is from a dot44 or swp45. Now just find an action for that stock!

Hmm.. are you sure that is a Steyr stock? It's hard to tell from the picture. The BNZ stocks have a shallow bolt relief. Here is a picture of mine.

It is Steyr, they don’t all have as low of a bolt cut, there are a handful that are higher like that one.

hi guys or i should find a correct stock and parts?

:laugh::laugh: It may be among the most sought after items. Many of us... cough cough have really nice rifles with ridiculously chopped stocks. That's why legit ones command sky high prices.

I have a odd laminate t block that someone took the industrial of all belt sanders to. Absolutely brutal.
