Humped RC?

IMO, the bnz, the z in particular is wrong. Too large for one, and the bnz is considerably deeper than the bcd, although I confess I do not know if these stamps bcd/bnz were made at the same time. I have also never seen the bcd and bnz aligned so well, note how well aligned both b’s are. Quite the contrary, the ones I’ve seen (admittedly very few) the bnz stamps were rather haphazardly stamped, as befits Steyr’s work. As always, I reserve the right to be wrong and take my punishment.

It’s real dudes

No way...you cannot be serious? Don’t tell me...blank left side and numeral 1 on the right side, and no WaA on the bridge? Machining marks? That z just looks so wrong. But is was Steyr, so there is that I guess.

Damn. Apologies to all. The z still doesn’t look right to me but apparently what do I know? Obviously not enough...

It looks funny in the flat RC blue, but it’s all there, spot on Steyr barrel with correct machining features, Steyr font, correct letter block range, correct fire proof etc.

100% real and not humped up. Batting 1000 aren't you KJ? lol

Yeah, pretty much. Damn dude, I just gotta keep my big mouth shut, study more and try to make SOS one day. Big commitment though being out West.

Without checking the bible I do remember a question I had that I'm not sure was ever answered.

Do we think all of these made it to Gustloff before they realized they couldn't build them out and diverted them OR did someone realize at some point and just start sending them directly from Chemnitz to Molln?

FWIW, Georg posted a beauty in February.. backwards recoil lug notwithstanding. http://www.k98kforum.com/showthread.php?34967-Dual-Code-bcd-bnz-4-from-the-attic&highlight=Molln
