I am trying to collect more information on a 22 conversion kit for a K98. My dad labeled the conversion kit "1937 Efurt 22 conversion kit". I've attached some photos. Thanks for any info.

How many of the serial numbers match? I am looking at this on my phone and it does not look like the two serial numbers shown are the same.

I'm seeing 2 different serial numbers. The bolt and rifle insert has all matching numbers of 2928 and the bottom plate (not sure of correct naming) has a serial number of 3917. Clips have no serial numbers.

I just looked at the pictures of my example which is later as it has 1938 dated magazines and is a laminated box. The numbered items on mine are the floor plate, barrel, receiver, bolt, and safety, just the last two digits. I would consider yours as a middle variant as it looks to have a solid box and magazines. The early ones were single shot. I am no expert so if I am incorrect I am sure someone will chime in.

Nice. The floor plate is a different serial than the bolt. The bolt, safety, and barrel are matching. Thanks for the information.

The plus is that you have all the parts. It took me a minute and some serious coin to get a matching example. My set has a box that was screwed shut so I have several holes and the catches for my latches were changed to screws. Mine is not perfect but I am happy with it. Bob from Ohio posted a nice example. I posted mine but might be hard to find as I posted it in 2017.

it's the second type with improved magazine design. This is the most common type but as said its complete and usable. Enjoy it !!

Has anyone ever seen a box for three of the single shot barrel inserts with perhaps the locking tool? Been looking for one for some years.

Joe, I have never seen one of the boxes for the 3 single shot units. But I do have one of the single shot 22 conversion units. BILL
