    Iíve never seen these before. They arenít runes are they?

    Looks to be russian depot marks. Its not uncommon for russian capture k98ks to have random number or glyphs stamped on the receiver. Certainly is not SS related if thats what you are thinking.

    I'm not well versed on these so I deferred commenting but I'm almost certain the x is RC. They can be on the side mostly but also on top as here. The 2 1s as they appear I haven't seen before but I wouldn't be shocked to learn they're also from some part of the Russian rebuild. Definitely not runes tho

    Yeah, I knew the X is Russian capture, just wasnít sure about those dual strikes. Thanks
