BNZ 1943 weird floor plate and trigger guard

A few days ago I found nice 1943 98k rifle made by Steyr. One thing I noticed is weird looking floor plate and trigger guard, it also has different number than barrel and receiver. Is this a original part? Does such look may be caused by manufacturing process in concentration camp?
Thanks in advance!

Looks like a floor plate for an M1903A3. Looks like it.... dont think that's what it is. There were so many Mauser variants, it's got to be off one of them. Not original to the rifle.

Post war Czech made 1 piece TG/FP. This isn't from the 'ShooterIke Collection' by chance?

The rifle has been reworked extensively after the war, the trigger guard as stated is not WW2 used but post war Czech. Barrel is not original either.

Sure would be nice if people would leave alone or at least restore these guns properly. So many dicked with 98ks no wonder collectors or accumulators have to be so concerned. Often spending a large sum of money so better gain plenty of knowledge. Thank god for this forum.

Hello,

The Triggergaurd looks to be the Czech post war run of TGF rifles has this odd triggerguard, different from the traditional Czech post war winter guards. Any other pics of the barrel?? might be one of those E.German reworks but its hard to see the other markings besides the serial. Above the serial could be a weak scrubbed Iraqi Jeem marked rifles that they re-worked as a few BNZ Rune marked rifles have been reported.
