Greetings!

I have the potential to trade for a Mauser in 308. Its stamped on the receiver Simson & Co. it's obviously been sporterized & rebarreled. The bolt serial number does not match the receiver. I've included pictures. I was curious if anyone can give me more information and possibly what they think it's worth. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I know very little about mausers. Thanks

It is worth the sum of the sporterized rifle, whatever its value is derived from a hunting or target rifle. It has no value as to the receiver's origins...
 
I don't think it's worth much. It is what it is now. You might as well enjoy it for what it is.
 
A bolt mismatch '17 Simson unsporterized would by $7-800, maybe more to someone who wanted one badly. Sporterized, maybe $200 retail. +Price of scope.
