MP44 Barrel Journal Size

Does anyone know the diameter of the MP44 Barrel Journal? I realize they was a range of sizes, just need the average, 23 mm maybe?

I'll measure a few for you. It's a good idea to double check blueprints with known examples when possible.

I want to do an AKM or AK47 chambered in the Kurtz round, 23mm works well with an AKM barrel trunnion. Some AKs in Afghanistan were chambered in 8mm K. They simply ran a chamber reamer into the existing 7.62x39 chamber. In essence it ends up being a squeeze bore arrangement, not sure I want to do that so looking at the new made MP44 barrels as starting point for the build.
