Default model 98 bnz43 witk rune

    I havel an original 8mm mauser bnz 43 SER # 85XX
with a SINGLE rune under the bnz. Rifle has all matching numbers.
    Reciever,bolt rear sight,and floorplate
It is missing front sight hood and rear trigger guard capture screw
Rifle was bought by my father in 1955.The stock was already cut down
to make it a sporter It is laminated wood in exc condition
Also has a Western Field recoil that was on when he bought it.
The number of the stock in the barrel channel is 4574

Barrel has a few minor scratches where the upper handgardes were.
Bore is very good or better.Bluing is very good except for the scratches
I would like to have a rough idea what is worth
I have quite a few pics of the numbers and letters, but don't know a thing about them

You have to post around five times before you can post pictures. Just a few more posts to go.

I assume that your father brought it back in 1955 is a typo and you mean 1945?
