Late War Chains ,Is the larger one a post war

Hi
Can you tell me if this bigger late war chain is WW2 , or post war. Its much larger than the ones you find late war. It all so has no attachment end.It has 24 links. It came in a mundlos 1940 reingungsgerat34 can , with a mundlos marked spoon,and 2 brushes. and marked steel mundlos oiler,but hard to read.

Without a patch end I’d say it’s just a piece of utility chain of the period and not from an RG34 originally. Ive read that this method of making chains was pretty typical.

Can't say I have seen a twisted wire pattern chain that size before. However, the Germans certainly had a lot of foreign equipment they put to use, and quite possibly this chain was used for something with a larger caliber than 7.92mm...
