1907/14 Danzig no letter block

Yes, it would be good to see more of this new discovery... pretty elusive maker and date, - and yes, barrel code research is pretty sparse for Imperial rifles, far less comprehensive that the work done with 98k production. I find Bismarckhütte a little curious on a DWM also, but checking with trends it is quite common for 1915 DWM production, moreso than Krupp, but less common than Böhler, but we are talking a few dozen recordings so hardly representative of a clear picture of what is common or rare.

DO include a picture of the right side of the receiver, this is very important to research, though it also certainly C/D x3 because all known DWM/14's and early 1915's all are.

While DWM/14's are rare, interestingly they are getting "less rare" every year, it wasn't long ago that none were known, now about half a dozen have been recorded! Makes one wonder why the relative high survival rate, by serial we can only estimate production at about 8000 rifles, but more and more have been showing up, and generally in pretty good condition.
