No harm attaching those parts imo. Try to get a correct WaA cleaning rod. Worst thing that can happen is you scratch the rifle putting the hood on.

I was keeping an eye on it, but was unsure about the stock condition and the front band. The front band in the ref. section is H style for a K block and the stock looked a little shinny. Could be all good and correct, but at the price it went for I decided I didn't want to take the chance.
