A rare accessory I found maybe twenty years ago. A rare waffenampt and coded sighthood.
gbd e/280 ( Bruce Karem and Michael Steve's book Karabiner 98k Vol IIa page 78. states the waffenampt was used by inspectors located in the Erfurt region responsible for Erma and Fein-mechanische Werke. gbd code was assigned to the firm Hugo Bauer located in Solingen-Wald)
