yes it is a east german rework that has been made purddy, interesting marking is it is at least MDi marked, the seller should have left it alone.

the front sight hood is Czech, and is typically found on Czech rebuilt K-98's sold and/or traded to East Germany,
 
I appreciate the fact they went the extra mile to use the period correct belt sander to simulate the burn through around the wrist area typically seen on original examples
