Gew98M Stock Question

Im looking at picking up this Gew98M. I know it most likely went to Spain during their civil war, as the receiver has been partially ground and whatnot. However, my question lies with the stock. I find it odd that there is neither a take down disc nor a unit marking disc. Is this a Spanish made replacement stock? A stock from another model? I'd be interested in hearing what it may be.

But then the long belgian models didn't have the handgrips

There was a post on Gunboards regarding some Yugoslavian Gew 98m's that turned up a few years ago. One photo posted had a similar stock that was presumed to have been made by the Yugoslavs. I would think Spain could also have made some as well.
