Dual ar 44 i & n block

Two all matching rifles in very good condition. It is interesting to compare the many differences in these rifles, especially considering they were not produced that far apart in time. The S/42 sight base is on the "n" block. It is also interesting that both stocks are almost identical except the "n" block is unnumbered.

Very Nice rifles! You just pick these up today? I was absentee bidding on 11616 n, They told me it was a D.

I added the n block today. There was also a cleaning kit that I bought in another lot but no bayonet. I bought the other a couple of years ago.

Comparison

thank you for taking the time to post. We learn so much by these side by side comparisons. Even the machining is different and sub-contracted parts...and so close in production. I especially like the bolt cutout area....WOW...it looks like a carbon copy. Bonus is rifles' super condition. :thumbsup:

Very nice, thanks for sharing. I love seeing such variation in rifles so close in production. It reminds me that production consistency is a little more inconsistent than we may realize, if that makes any sense.

nice pair..

these are a couple of my recent favorites..Ar44 i and n blocks show about the begining and end of the ar44 receiver spectrum. The stocks apear to be mauser produced. Now all you need is a no letter block ar44 and a bcd4 n block and so on and so on... :facepalm:

That is a Great Pair of ar 44`s Would be a Honor to own that set . Thanks for Sharing them. Best Regards

:thumbsup::thumbsup:
