Mauser HSC with Captured Papers Army 135

Here is my Mauser HSC Military blue finish army marked with Captured papers. I think its a Variation #4. Estimated procurement 31,000. In all most mint condition all matching. Grips I think were varnished though. I research the Army vet. And came up that he was a MP in Germany in 1945. I have own this pistol 25 years.

what makes you think that grips are varnished?

I would say a clear coat put on the grips. To me it looks like it could be, but not sure. I should have not said varnish.

I will do that jack44. never thought of doing that. over all these years its been in the bunker.
