I snagged a Elite Diamant 39 with a non matching Elite Diamant 39
scabbard in excellent condition on fleabay in the wee hours. Can't
wait to get it so I can post photos. Paid $153.00. Please be honest/brutal.
Was that too much?

Was there a FROG ?
If not, was to much. Mismatch should be $ 100.00 or less with out a frog in very good condition, In my estimation in the collecting field on German WW2 bayonets. Some people might think I am wrong. But that's what I would pay. Rarer codes would be more . Like Sgx,Bym,Pyy. Etc...….

Thankx I'll start looking for one. The bayonet is about mint.
What pushed me to pull the trigger was that the blade and
scabbard are both Elite Diamant 39 even though numbers
don't match. Oh well. :facepalm:
 
Elite Diamant is nice middle range producer, i am same opinion a nonmatching piece brings lower value, a little overpriced (+20/30USD), but we should see pictures. Normal frog should be ok there.
 
Elite-Diamant is a good maker. Price is a little high but not too bad from what I've seen on eBay lately.
