Photo is captioned, on eBay, WWII photo female soldier of the Armia Krajowa.

Polish home made copy of a Sten or? Note the magazine location, like the German mp3008. Post-war copy?

These were made during Warsaw Uprising. I think 2 or 3 survived in Polish museums.
During occupation Polish Underground also made copies of Sten SMG. They were exact copies and I think one example in relic condition is in one of Polish museums. Interestingly it was marked with Polish eagle and letters WP (Polish Army) on magazine housing.

Well planned as a clandestinely produced weapon. Like other SMGs, it fired from an open bolt and was blowback operated, but unlike others, it had a free-floating firing pin. Very cool, and more advanced than most would expect from something made under those conditions. It used captured/stolen MP38/40 magazines.
