    Default Cool unit marking

    This was found on an early made gewehr 98 on a European auction site. I think the listing was taken down, or the rifle was sold but I kept a picture of the unit disk. Still neat though.

    It is cool, any idea what it is? What was the maker of the gun?

    Per Noll, the mark is Grand Headquarters / Kaiser's Headquarters. Pretty damn cool unit mark.

    Lol, after that guy found a Tsingtao SB marked rifle a few months back, all bets are off-- crazy some of the units popping up for sale!
