A bayonet I thought I would never have. Matching # 44sgx. Although this example is missing its press catch and the blade appears to be sharpened, I was able to get it at a very reasonable price.

Lots of 44sgx out there but pricey when they come up for sale. Have this one recorded as sold on ebay December 2018 ....

Yes, it was around that time I purchased it. Fortunately this item didn't cost me an arm and a leg - $179
 
I've never seen one, messed with or not. Nice find. The blade I can understand but why remove the catch?
