This took awhile to arrive but it was worth it. It was an eBay auction and someone made me pay, but the condition and the tiger striped walnut can’t be beat. Looks like the final finishing was done on a bench grinder!!! Hahahha

Eickhorn terminated production in the lower end of the "y" letter block. My latest example is sn 6707x with scabbard 6795x. I recalled passing it by several times at a OGCA show because it was mismatched. But, condition was like new and it was also relatively cheap at the time, so caved and picked it up anyway...

Nice one. I cant recall ever seeing a "t" block before.

For whatever reasons there are not a large amount of t block examples recorded.

There are factory mismatches in the y and especially x blocks .....

even weakly visible there are spures of using of the bayonet, like frog attached, on rifle attached on slot, the t range could be well used in german Army, maybe on east front area too, so no many reported from USA, evidently the y and x range are reported in large bunches and mostly in matching condition unworied, so probably got by US Gis direclty from depot or rail delivery. br.Andy
