G98/40 suffix id

just picked up a typical bolt mm G98/40. Can someone help id the sn suffix? thx! Ill post more pix when i get home

When is not german sutterlin font it could be letter b for italic handwritten font of letter, should be compared on other real rifles of same range.

jhv 43? If so, I am guessing it is a "K" suffix serial number. The year would give us a good hint. They ran with the same serial range throughout G98/40 production so certain letter blocks were only found in each year. e.g. off the top of my head, I think jhv 43 production went from somewherr in the G block to low L block.

Nice looking website but it has been up for a while and his serial number information is a bit off (e.g. he thinks that production starts with the a block and he therefore does not recognize the 9,999 rifles produced in the no letter block).
