Decipher this please

Why was 41 overstamped 42? I guess it has a high serial number but its only in the b block.
What is the serial number on the prommel? Reissued?

Its possible there are leftovers of 41 cof production, that were used in 1942, the 42 font is clearly different, as the WaA are mixed 883/519 this should be done in switch to 1942, anyway the b range is really high, possible that it was forgoten and then serialed to b range, mixed WaA means end of 41 production and no letter range of 1942. The serial number on pommel is most real bulgarian or romanian postwar. b.r.Andy
