My HMG CETME L looks crude too. In fact, the front sight base wobbles without the front handguard in place. BUT it's reliable and accurate and that's what matters in the end!

I am by far no expert, but I assume you made sure it is barrelled and chambered for 7.62x51 as it looks like many parts came from the Yugo M-59, which was 8mm.

It's a home build. The BRP gen 2 bolt is the most reliable semi bolt out there. looks like whoever did the work marked it with an electro pencil or some other engraving tool. He marked it as "7.92". Have you fired this gun?

What were you looking to get for it? I know a guy in the reenacting community that might be interested. He lives in the same state as you also.

quick update for you patient gentlemen, its currently at the shop. These guys are good so I trust them with this, they are going to take it apart, clean it, test for functionality, and take the pics you requested. You'll probably hear from me again next week with said pictures.

It'll be neat to see what they find out.
