Hi
Let´s start with a few imperial bayonets from WW1.
Here are 3 S 84/98 n.A. with sawback, from Erfurt.
2 are regimental marked, both with blades from Gebr. Heller.
The royal rifle factory Erfurt bought the blades from suppliers and assembled them.
Erfurt S 84/98 n.A. are only known from 1915.
The regimental markings are:
Fl.E.6.1710 - Fliegerersatzabteilung 6, weapon nr. 1710
3.L.MG.K. 68(?) 3. Leichte Maschinengewehr Kompagnie weapon nr. 68
All three came with the gas shield, the two Gebr. Heller have the big Erfurt logo, the other the small logo, with the scarce W15 acceptance.
Take also a look at the different pommels and scabbards.
I prefer to leave the bayos in there condition and to keep the cleaning to a minimum.

nice presentation of great bayonets, the first scabbard when sferic ball finial, could be polish or for ASG piece. b.r.Andy

Is not needed when german unit marked, anyway the ball finial looks sferic in compare with the both others, and there were not visible lines in frog hook.
