Hello everyone. I am new to the K98 Mauser community. I just purchased an all numbers matching 1942 BNZ K98 SSZZA4 rifle for a what I believe is a great price. This is my very first k98 Mauser rifle. I also own a 1943 Remington built Springfield M1903A3 and a Springfield built mid 40s M1 Garand as part of my WW2 era beginning collection. I will post pictures in the Nazi period section of the forum. I hope to learn a lot about my rifle in the future.

Took a look and seems to be a very nice rifle! Good pick-up for sure. Have you been able to take it apart yet to check if the internals match (especially the firing pin)?

I have not disassembled the bolt to look at the firing pin yet. I will look into disassembling the bolt to check the firing pin. Edit: I just disassembled the bolt and removed the firing pin. 57 is also marked on the firing pin.
