Look at “Tafel 1” from 1942. You can find mistakes.

Very nice manuals. Are any of them marked as to whom they were issued? Do any of them have the updates put into them?

My 1935 manual has both. It is marked and has several updates.

Jeez, you know your a K98 geek when you find mistakes in original manuals. They look like they mixed up a K98k with a K98a, and vice versa.

@Peter S
My redaction 1935 is without the updates (Deckblätter).

Look in your H.Dv. the update is dated 25. August 1942. Time you can get the H.Dv. with including Deckblätter redaction 1940 and 1942.
The 1942 is original like 1940, only the mistake on “Tafel 1” is different.

Sorry, the manuals have no markings, one only with the name from the owner.

You know H.Dv. 256?

@Kammerjaeger
Yes, the mistake is K98a and K98k.
Curio ;-)

Yes, I’m familiar with H.Dv.256

Like my English

The stamp shows that the store is allowed to sell products with approval from the Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM).

Equipment, clothes and so on from the political organizations of NSDAP must go confirm with the determination from the NS party.

But how I can translate RZM?
Michael Heidler translate RZM in his book “Deutsche Fertigungskennzeichen bis 1945” “German secret armament codes until 1945” with “State Master of Ordnance”. The book is bilingual.

The Stamp:
"From the State Master of Ordnance of the N.S.D.A.P.
permitted shop for clothing,
equipment and insignia.
Adalbert Steck, Wilthen i(n)/Sa(xony)"

Wilthen is a small town.
