Beautiful!!! That is one of the most amazing rifles I have seen. Straight out of a time capsule.

I think I have saved pictures of that one from years ago. How long do you have it? Very nice rifle, can't get better (well, except for matching can too!).

Very nice!

Forgive my ignorance on German sniper stuff (have US WW2 sniper stuff), but was it customary to have snipers leave the factory without stock finishes? This seems counter intuitive. Has this stock been cleaned? I know it was somewhat common in the '80/'90's to "bleach" the wood to get a more "at factory look." I also noticed the "eagle H" looks fainter than I'd expect, but might be my perception. I noticed the metal condition is fantastic so doubt the rifle saw much use..fantastic piece.

Damn that's a nice LSR. Any possible know history to it?

Also is that scope lens cap original or repro? Love to have something like that for my K98k snipers.

I know, I need a set of leather scope lens covers for my Kohler scope.

We did used to have a guy in the UK that made lots of very nice milsurp repro leather items such as scope lens covers for 4(T) and others, but he seems to have stopped trading, after a few people on other forums sent money for items they never received.

Most of the leatherworkers in the UK now are just saddlery types doing horse stuff, and are usually women who refuse to make anything to do with shooting.

I know a small amount of the collector to collector history , nothing more . I bought it from a Forum Member who's an avid G/K43 collector and he got it from a collector in California .

The Lens Covers are Original .
