Close Combat Clasp - pretty sure it's a reproduction, but want confirmation

Something I picked up years ago, I don't have a known original to compare it to.

I'm sure it's a reproduction, but just want to make sure..... that wimpy pin on the back looks like something you'd see on a piece of cheap costume jewelry, but I have seen real badges and medals with missing pins that were replaced with some crappy little pin someone pulled off some piece of junk.


Forgive the photos, but this is the best my pathetic little camera can do.

I am by no means an expert on the Kahkampfspange der Wehrmacht. I looked around some at another forum (not WAF) and found a pic of a bronze grade CCC by the same maker as yours. There were other examples, but this is the only one that had the same crimp style used on the back to hold the center piece in. None of them had a needle/pin like yours but the hook/catch looks the same. Better pics would help. Maybe try outside with no flash. That is if the outside is not on fire and the smoke is so bad you can not see ten feet like it is here.
